The Base is very sturdy. It’s just like the picture. It’s small so you can only bake 1 large item or 2-3 small items on it. When I received it I realized I needed the larger size so I ordered 2 of them. Just a suggestion if you order this size order 2 so you can use both shelves.

They come with two different handles allowing you to chose the inner cutter at the height you want for perfect alignment in your design. I was never a big fan of stencils, then I purchased the "Mystery Gift Box, which has a trial of around a dozen different products. I was VERY surprised how well these work, in comparison to cheaper versions I had purchased in past years. These are a perfect depth allowing for shaving just design area, while leaving foil on the impressed portion, resulting in a great finished product. Now, I'm a HUGE fan of these stencils, and will eventually purchase all the sets :)

Beautifully cut designs I plan to use alot. The storage case fits them perfectly and is real protevtive. Absolutely delighted with my purchase.
